Sulfur By ICP

Definition:

Sulfur By ICP measures the total sulfur, both organic and inorganic, by Inductively Coupled Plasma Spectrometry. The sample is diluted and shaken, then aspirated into a high energy argon plasma where it is vaporized. The amount of light measured by the ICP for the characteristic Sulfur wavelengths is converted to sulfur concentration parts per million (ppm).
