Metals (PPM) ICP
Definition:
Metals (PPM) ICP measures the total concentrations of 15 elements by Inductively Coupled Plasma Spectrometry. The sample is diluted and shaken, then aspirated into a high energy argon plasma where it is vaporized. The amount of light measured by the ICP for the characteristic elemental wavelengths is converted to elemental concentrations parts per million (ppm).

Test Limitation:
Elemental Analysis by ICP will not detect particles greater than 10µm in size.
