Lubricity
Definition:
Lubricity is a measure of a lubricant's ability to affect friction between, and wear to, surfaces in motion under load. Diesel fuel injection components have some reliance on the lubricating properties of diesel fuel. Lack of lubricity in a fuel can shorten the life of fuel system components.
