POLARIS Laboratories® Technical Services Stress Analytical Education

INDIANAPOLIS — POLARIS Laboratories®, one of the top 10 largest fluid analysis companies in the country, announces “Practical Oil Analysis & Cooling Systems Maintenance” training for maintenance and reliability professionals. The four-day program provides the knowledge and management tools key to developing a practical fluid analysis program that makes a positive impact on a company's bottom line.

The training consists of two separate courses, “Practical Oil Analysis” and “Cooling Systems Maintenance.” Participants may attend one or both courses. Taught by experienced industry professionals, each course focuses on program goals, appropriate testing, selecting a quality laboratory, taking good, timely samples and interpreting results. “Cooling Systems Maintenance” stresses the importance of total system maintenance for longer engine life.

Raymond Thibault, a Certified Lubrication Specialist and Oil Monitoring Analyst, developed customer lubrication programs for more than 30 years with ExxonMobil. Thibault now provides both private and public training and consultation services to corporations around the world. Elizabeth O'Neil-Nelson, Coolant Program Manager for POLARIS, has been a coolant testing and analysis consultant for more than 20 years. Her research and development experience has allowed her to provide cooling system maintenance training and field services to reliability professionals, equipment manufacturers and fleet owners around the world.

Anyone responsible for maintaining equipment reliability within virtually any industry should plan to attend this extensive, four-day fluid analysis training session, including Equipment Operators, Maintenance Managers, Industrial Engineers, Operations Managers, Lubrication Engineers, Maintenance Technicians and Reliability Engineers.

Participants will also receive an extensive laboratory tour, a Fluid Analysis Reference Manual, a $200 credit toward testing services, a PC-based data management software program (COMPASS, a $499 value), a Spectrometric Metals Guide and a Coolant Testing and Analysis Guide. Whether you are just venturing into fluid analysis, or have been managing maintenance programs for years, these courses will expand your general knowledge of oils and coolants and provide a better understanding of fluid testing and analysis.
