New Fuel Analysis Webinars Address Performance Issues, Cleanliness Standards and Quality of Bulk Deliveries
POLARIS Laboratories® is again expanding its scope of customer training and technical support with a new diesel fuel analysis webinar series. The new curriculum is designed to help end users correct performance issues, maintain standards for fuel cleanliness and confirm sulfur content, biodiesel content and manufacturer specifications. It also provides guidelines for taking diesel fuel samples and the requirements for properly shipping them to the laboratory.
Mark Minges, POLARIS Laboratories® Chief Operating Officer, said that because fleet managers spend more money on fuel than any other operating expense, POLARIS Laboratories® is offering these webinars to teach customers what testing they need to confirm the quality of bulk deliveries and quickly resolve what might be causing the most common issues that have the biggest monetary effect on fleet productivity.
“Optimum performance depends on resolving issues before they result in unnecessary downtime,” Minges said. “These new webinars explain how well-designed test packages can confirm manufacturer specifications, identify contamination and wear issues and determine possible causes for fuel filter plugging, smoking, loss of power, poor injector performance, malfunctioning throttle position sensors and sticking valves.”
The two-part series will be held twice this fall - on October 6th and 7th and November 3rd and 4th from 12:00-1:30 p.m. EST. The series is $150, individual sessions are $75. Registration is available at http://www.polarislabs.com/fuel-webinars-form.php or by calling 1-877-808-3750, ext. 264.
