Part Time Sample Processing Assistant - Indianapolis, IN
Job Description: This position is responsible for quickly opening and accurately organizing all samples entering our facility. The individual must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where meeting deadlines is essential. Experience within a manufacturing or production industry is preferred. Requirements for the position include:
- Uses box cutters to open sample shipments.
- Lifts and moves sample boxes of up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Apply lab numbers to sample bottles.
- Inspect, identify, and separate samples accordingly
- Able to understand and follow verbal and written commands.
Customer Service Representative - Indianapolis, IN
Job Description: Our Customer Service Representatives are motivated individuals who administer customer account records. This position handles all customer service issues which include entering customer lists into the computer and answering inquiries and/or complaints in a timely manner. The representative also interacts with customers, leadership, and staff regarding accounts and samples on a daily basis. Requirements for the position include:
- Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Minimum 2 years customer service experience, preferably call center experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to understand some technical information.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
- Strong computer skills.
- Administrative/Office experience a plus.
- Knowledge of multi-line phone system a plus.
Shipping Clerk - Indianapolis, IN
Job Description: We’re looking for a motivated individual to fill the position responsible for receipts, picking, packaging and shipping products, as well as handling returns and inventory. Additional duties of the job include:
- Preparing kits for shipping by picking, assembling, packing, protecting, and labeling boxes.
- Maintaining shipping and receiving materials by ensuring stock is put away in proper locations.
- Receiving incoming packages and distributing to proper departments in accordance with the quality system.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the entire department.
- Quality check orders prior to shipping items on a daily basis.
JAVA Developer/Engineer - Indianapolis, IN
Job Description: POLARIS Laboratories is currently recruiting for a Software Engineer. This is a full-time position and the selected employee is eligible to participate in POLARIS' full benefit package (medical/vision/dental benefits, short and long term disability, flexible spending accounts, 401k and a discounted rate to a local health club). Our IT Team is working with the latest and greatest softwares and tools.
The selected candidate will obtain or further their experience in Spring 3, Hibernate, JPA, Wicket, Groovy and Maven! This position is located in Indianapolis, and only candidates that are in or willing to live in Indianapolis will be considered.
Essential Functions:
- Develop, support, and enhance requested applications/features
- Develop support, and enhance the Horizon application
- Assist with design and estimates of new features and patches
- Provide accurate feedback of planned, current, and completed work
- Provide application infrastructure support
- Provide support on issues affecting supported applications
- Any additional tasks requested by management to promote the success of the team, department, and company
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Demonstrated ability to develop complex systems using Java based technologies
- Hibernate framework

Laboratory Shift Supervisor - Atlanta, GA
Our Atlanta facility is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced laboratory supervisor to join our high growth company. The First Shift Supervisor position requires experience under a Quality System, effective communication with team members as well as efficient problem solving skills for maintenance and repair issues.
Daily duties include tasks such as running specific laboratory equipment and testing samples that require specific knowledge of processes, as well as facilitating the proper work flow, and controlling inventory. Some additional functions of the position include:
- Planning schedules, including overtime approval, tracking attendance
- Managing QC paperwork
- Managing hazardous waste/used oil pick up
- Conducting interviews and employee reviews
- Managing production reports, report
- Observing and reading instrumentation to determine operating conditions during testing
- Monitoring department production and report statistics
- Assisting in new employee and safety training
- Auditing production for accuracy
This position is full-time and is located in Atlanta. Only candidates that are in or willing to live in Atlanta will be considered.
Sample Processing Technician - Atlanta, GA

The individual must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where meeting deadlines is essential. Experience within a manufacturing or production industry is preferred, and punctuality is essential.
Additional requirements:

- Transfer information from paperwork into the computer system
